For a few years I studied Network and Web Design Technology at Sacramento City College, with a side of Microcomputer Tech as a fallback. Now I Design web sites for non-profits and special events. I used to be a real traveler though. Between 79 and 86 I put about 60,000 miles on my shoes. In that time, living and observing the tragic side of the American dream, I saw a lot of really wonderful examples of human kindness and philanthropy. I saw a lot of death and hopelessness too. I've gathered my friends about me and we've decided to try and describe what we fondly remember as the open ward. What I hope to do here is offer an open-minded place that's all about exchanging ideas and collaborating on the real deal tricks toward never having to warehouse another human being again. E-mail us and tell us what you think. Don't complain though. Too many people complain and too few actually have anything bright to contribute. Lets send good ideas to the White House instead.
